On January 6, 2013 at approximately 4:20 P.M. the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call advising that there had been a subject shot at 9617 Hwy 17 North.

Upon Officers arrival Dewayne E. Eddington, age 43 of Tuckerman was discovered with a single gunshot wound to his face. Eddington was flown to the Med in Memphis, TN. by Air Evac.

Gary D. Bradley age 57 of Tuckerman, AR. was transported to the Jackson County Detention Center.

Bradley appeared in Newport District Court on Monday January 7, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. were he was arraigned on the charge of 1^St Degree Battery. His bond was set at $25,000.00 and he was ordered to appear in the Jackson County Circuit Court on Thursday, January 17, 2013.
